Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

What is the PTA?
The PTA is a partnership of parents and school staff who work together to strengthen school life. It’s a friendly, volunteer-led forum that supports communication between home and school, organises events, and raises funds for extras that benefit our pupils.

How the PTA helps ILM Schools
Alhumdulillah, we are blessed with dedicated parents who give their time week in, week out. Through the PTA they:

• run events, bake sales and stalls to raise funds for pupil experiences and resources;

• support school activities (trips, sports, Qur’an competitions);

• build community spirit and a welcoming, faith-centred school culture;

• share skills and feedback to help us keep improving.

How you can get involved
Everyone can contribute whether you can spare an hour occasionally or take on a small role:

• join the PTA whatsapp group and come to a meeting;

• volunteer at an event (set-up, stewarding, refreshments, tidy-up);

• offer a professional skill (design, photography, finance, logistics, marketing);

• help with fundraising ideas.

For safeguarding, some roles may require an enhanced DBS, our office will guide you. To register your interest, please speak to the school office. We’d love to have you on board.
